Le Sauze French ski school

Group or private ski, snowboard, telemark and freestyle lessons, in a varied ski area, looking out across the Ubaye Valley.

Cross-country skiing is a great way to get away from it all and immerse yourself in the wonderful sites of the valley. With friends, family or in a group, for sport or discovery… a complete change of scenery and guaranteed fun.

Whatever your level or discipline, we’ll put all our teaching skills at your service to ensure that your lessons are a pleasure and that you progress at your own pace.

Our instructors will put you at ease, adapting their vocabulary so that everyone understands what you’re doing, and pass on their know-how to help you improve your technique in complete safety.

Teenagers and sports enthusiasts will not be outdone by our instructors, who will be able to guide them to the fun, well-equipped areas of the ski area, for an adrenalin-fuelled thrill on the slopes.

Our aim is to ensure your progress and enjoyment in a safe and friendly environment.
Tests and medals are included in the price of weekly group lessons.

A ski chair is available for private lessons for thrills and discovery of the ski area.

All group lessons and the snow garden are available during the school holidays at Le Sauze 1400 and Le Sauze 1700. Outside the school holidays, group lessons and the snow garden are only available at Sauze 1400.

During the school holidays, children’s torchlit descent every week (from the Teddy Bear to the Gold Star) supervised by our instructors, as well as the instructors’ torchlit descent.

The Piou-Piou club is the snow garden, a safe, fun area for children aged 3 to 7, from pioupiou to ourson. It’s furnished with snow threads and figurines of Piou-Piou and his friends. Piou-Piou’s stories guide the children as they progress, and they move along with him, playing with friends and having a snack break provided by the ESF.

At the end of the week, your child will be assessed, and medals will be awarded in the presence of parents, Piou-Piou and friends.

Skiing with a free mind: if you wish, the nursery pack is available and we can act as a relay between the Sauze 1400 snow garden and the nursery.
