The Mévouillon famùily built this fortress during the 13th century. The building was organised around a central courtyard and four main buildings flanked by square towers. Two gates gave access to it.
We know that the castle was abandonned and ruined as early as the end of the 13th century. Restauration has benne carried on since 2005.
